PASTOR

Reverend Jeff Parker

The Rev. Jeff Parker joined New Life in 2021. He  is a husband and a father as well as a minister. He  takes all of those jobs seriously. Jeff have been a minister for over 20 years and served at churches in CA, FL, AL, AR and now NM. He studied philosophy at Furman University and received his master's degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. Jeff delivers messages from the POV of a guy who has studied religion from elementary school. His focus is sharing his interpretation on how he thinks Jesus would like us to live. But, he will be the first person to tell you "Don't just take my word for it! Take time to figure things out yourself!" 

MUSIC DIRECTOR

Matalie Wham

Matalie is an accomplished musician and we are blessed to have her on staff for nearly 18 years. She has collaborated with many local and area soloists and ensembles and served the Ghost Ranch (Summer) Chorale. Matalie received her Bachelors and Masters in Music from UNM, and her PhD in Fine Arts, Specialization in Music, Concentration in Piano Performance, from Texas Tech University in Lubbock.
